Freecell + |
About this appFreecell + is in fact the classic freecell solitaire game updated with a new and modern look. Four suit stacks have to be built in ascending order (one for each color), using all the cards in the deck. You win the game when all stacks are completed, and the score you get is based on the number of cards added to suits and on the playing time. This game release includes a few useful commands, such as Hint, Undo and Auto (play); also, it features an auto select option (the immovable cards of the tableau piles are automatically grayed out).

|
How it worksOnce the application starts, all 52 cards are automatically dealt face up into eight tableau piles. The first four piles have seven cards, the last four six cards. If your last game was interrupted for some reason, it is always resumed on start - including the score and the game duration. A tap anywhere on the screen will display or hide the group of five buttons from the bottom: Play, Tune, Auto (play), Undo and Hint. PLAY allows you to start a new game (Random, Winnable or Replay the last game). TUNE displays the Settings page, where a few game options can be changed according to your preferences and the game statistics can be seen. AUTO tries to automatically move the cards to the upper stacks. UNDO is a self explanatory command; the last card moved is instantly placed on its previous spot. HINT makes a legal move (to foundation piles, free cells or other columns).

How to play
- The eight stacks from the tableau are filled with cards when the game starts; you have to move them toward the foundation stacks, starting with the Aces. - To move a card or a stack of cards from one column to another, just drag the card or stack over another one (that has an alternate color, arranged in descending order). - Each Free Cell from the left is a storage place for one card. Any available card can be moved to an empty cell, and any card from these "free cells" can be moved either back to the tableau or to the foundations, at any moment. - A Long Tap on a card will automatically move it, if it's suitable, to its foundation stack, to a free cell or to another tableau column. - The game is over when all the four Kings are displayed on the upper stacks. - As a rule of thumb, the size of the stack of cards that you can move at once is equal to the number of empty Free Cells plus one. However, this number doubles for every empty tableau column (unless you're moving the sequence to an empty tableau column). |
