About this app

This app generates a constant tone (sine, square, triangle or sawtooth wave) in the audible frequency range (20Hz to 22KHz) which may be adjusted in 1Hz or 10Hz increments. In addition, special sounds can be played to remove the water from your speakers and to help you relax, meditate and sleep better. Each of these main sections of our app is on a separate page, and more information about them will be displayed when you tap the About button. What else this tone generator can be used for?

- Tuning musical instruments and testing audio equipment
- To find out what is the highest frequency you can hear
- To interact with your dog, to stop him from barking (Note: Longer exposure to the high-frequency range can damage the dog's hearing)

How it works

Here are the steps you must take to use correctly the four distinct sections of our app:

Tone Generator

1. Set your phone's media volume to a medium level
2. Slowly swipe left-right to adjust the audio frequency in 10Hz increments
3. Slowly swipe up-down to adjust the audio frequency in 1Hz increments
4. Tap the +/- buttons to adjust the app's volume level (default is 50%)
5. Select the type of wave you want to be generated (sine, square, triangle or sawtooth)
6. Tap the Play button to generate the continuous tone you configured
 

Speaker cleaner

1. Set the media volume to maximum
2. Tap the +/- buttons to adjust the app's volume level (default is 100%)
3. Tap one of the first three buttons to select from Sine sweep, Square sweep or Human voice
4. Tap the fourth to enable or disable vibrations
5. Tap the play button to start the cleaning process
 

Relaxation tones

1. Set the media volume to maximum
2. Tap the +/- buttons to adjust the app's volume level (default is 50%)
3. Tap one of the upper buttons to select a relaxation tone
4. Tap the play button to generate the sound

Noise generator

1. Set the media volume to a medium level
2. Tap the +/- buttons to adjust the app's volume level (default is 50%)
3. Tap one of the upper buttons to select a type of noise (White, Pink, Brown or Water)
4. Tap the play button to generate that noise
